  1. Dear professor Lennox and or assistants. I’m a Christian and I have debated atheists online frequently on yahoo forums. I have come to the point where I will no longer debate any atheist. They have an unbelievable robotic like mentality. Like they are programmed to shut out of their minds any possibility of Jesus Christ { God } existing. Despite any scientific or historical evidence that points toward God’s existence. They are mindless wonders indeed. { atheists } God Bless You

    • Max, it’s not always the person you’re debating that you may get through to. Remember, Jesus’s confrontations with the religious rulers etc. never got through to them but millions have read and benefited from His answers/questions.

    • In Holland the soil has become rather hard, and the arguments many learned professors use to refute the ‘idea of God’, often seem so ‘sophomoric’. It is hard to understand why they still refer to God as some ‘sky daddy’ floating around in space, or ‘Santa Claus’ (Sinterklaas). Sometimes it feels as if the major task at hand is to first help them see their faulty views about God’s nature (eternal, uncreated and therefore uncaused). You woudn’t expect that from academics.

  2. I have to add these thoughts. It is a tragedy in these United States that school children and university students are not given the opportunity to think for themselves and to choose whether to believe in the lies of evolution and a random universe or to believe in God. The lies of evolution and randomness are shoved into their minds like a necessary nutrient. How sad and evil . Again God Bless

And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand. Matthew 12:25

  4. I can see that the previous comments all date back to 2014 but I have just come across this video and where I come from, it is when you wake up that is your morning!

I found some of the analogies used by both Professors quite profound. First was the boiling kettle example. So why was the kettle boiling? It seems to me that atheist scientists artificially restrict the limits of science when they insist on only the materialistic explanation – the physics of heat energy and boiling points, etc …

    • …But Prof. Lennox’s explanation is just as valid and, I dare suggest, even more applicable when he says “because I wanted a cup of tea” – talk about simplicity of explanation! I love science and I love it even more when it opens my mind to different levels of explanation.

The other thing that struck me was how Prof. Kruit completely missed the irony of his argument about the wonders of artificial intelligence, while denying that it takes intelligence to create intelligence. Amazing stuff!
